Upon Arrival in Ukraine... What to Do & Not to Do!!!

1. Do not drink tap water - boil it or buy bottled.

2. Eat in mainstream establishments…leave street vendors off your list.
3. Luggage packed according to TSA & Airline requirements
4. Be keenly aware of your surroundings, landmarks & directions since you don’t read Russian.
5. Travel with a group of people rather than being out alone after dark.
6. Do not “flash around” cash or jewelry. Leave large sums of money in a safe place(s).
7. Always have copies of your passport, IDs and personal documents on your person.
8. Have your original documents kept in a separate safe place along with additional photocopies.
9. You are not required to present your original passport to anyone unless you are entering or exiting the country or requesting funds from a bank.
10. In the event that you are stopped by the police or any official you should request to see their identification card so as to right down both their name and ID number. Do not attempt to handle their card.
11. When leaving your accommodations put away all expensive items securely.
12. Realize your “body-clock” requires 1 day for each hour of time change you have experienced.
